MAINTENANCE ANNOUNCEMENT

a maintenance of AI nodes will take place on 
  2024-01-10 to 2024-01-11
  starting at 9:00 

Only the AI nodes are not available during the maintenance work.
All other nodes, files systems and login nodes of hawk remain available.

INFORMATION

- Some special node types (AI nodes, Pre-Post nodes, login nodes) have a local disk installed 
  and mounted on /localscratch. On this nodes:
   * each batchjob creates a /localscratch/$PBS_JOBID directory owned by the job owner.
   * each ssh login session creates a /localscratch/$UID directory owned by $UID.
   * at the end of a user batch job, the directory $PBS_JOBID in /localscratch on the node will be removed!
   * at the end of all login sessions of a user on a node, the $UID directorie in /localscratch will be removed!
   * the individual /localscratch filesystem on the nodes is not shared with other nodes.

- a new project filesystem is available. Details:

- Due to a security risk, all Hawk-KI nodes (node_type=rome-ai) 
  can only be used in a limited way (without user namespaces support).
  Job request with 'UNS=True' will not start.
